UK Scotch whisky exports to the United States fell 14.7% to £182.1 million in the first quarter of 2026, according to HMRC data published today by the Food and Drink Federation in its Q1 2026 Trade Snapshot. The decline is the first confirmed quarterly figure showing the direct impact of US tariffs on Scotch whisky since the tariff package came into force in 2025.
