Southern Glazer’s and Teamsters reached a New York agreement: 30% wages, AI protections, five-year term

Two hundred workers at Southern Glazer’s Wine & Spirits across New York state ratified a new five-year collective bargaining agreement on 14 August 2026, following a 24-hour strike. The workers – members of Teamsters Locals 118, 294, 317, 445, and 449, covering Rochester, North Syracuse, Rock Tavern, Buffalo, and Albany – had previously rejected an earlier tentative agreement on 31 July. The International Brotherhood of Teamsters confirmed the ratification via a PRNewswire press release on 14 August.
