Sazerac’s third RTD acquisition in 18 months: Au Vodka joins BuzzBallz and Dirty Shirley in the portfolio

Sazerac has signed a binding agreement to acquire Au Vodka, the Welsh flavoured vodka and RTD brand. The deal was announced on 17 August 2026. Terms are confidential, and the transaction is expected to close within weeks. Sky News reported on 15 August that talks had been running for several months and that the deal could be worth up to £500 million – the largest exit to date by a British RTD brand. Neither Sazerac nor Au Vodka has confirmed a figure.
