Rémy Cointreau consolidates India under Monika Alcobev – the first major RC Forward market action explained

Rémy Cointreau has appointed Monika Alcobev Limited as its exclusive distribution and marketing partner across all of India. The announcement, confirmed via PRNewswire press release on 10 August 2026, consolidates the French group’s India presence under a single partner for the first time. Monika Alcobev had previously managed Rémy Martin cognac and Cointreau in India – the new agreement extends to the full Rémy Cointreau portfolio, including Louis XIII, The Botanist gin, Bruichladdich single malt whisky, St-Rémy brandy, Metaxa, and Mount Gay rum. The transition across retail and HoReCa channels is scheduled to complete over the coming months.
