Jascots Wine Merchants has changed hands for the second time in six years

Italian food company Compagnia del Gusto Holding has agreed to acquire the commercial assets of Jascots Wine Merchants from Freixenet Copestick, the UK arm of Henkell Freixenet. The transaction was announced on 3 August 2026 and is expected to complete financially by October 2026. Compagnia del Gusto Holding will assume responsibility for Jascots’ administrative and sales teams through its UK subsidiary, CDGH UK. The acquisition represents the Italian holding company’s entry into the UK on-trade wine distribution market, which it describes as a strategic priority for its international growth.
