Edrington Has Sold Wyoming Whiskey Back to Its Co-Founder. It Is the Third Brand Exit in Twelve Months.

Edrington has sold its 80% stake in Wyoming Whiskey to WW Partners, a Wyoming-based investment group led by co-founder David DeFazio. The sale returns full ownership of the distillery to its home state, eight years after Edrington first invested with a 35% stake in 2018 and three years after increasing that holding to 80% in 2023. Financial terms were not disclosed.
