Coca-Cola has disclosed a ransomware attack on its Fairlife dairy subsidiary

The Coca-Cola Company disclosed on 16 July 2026 that fairlife, LLC – its dairy subsidiary and one of its fastest-growing brands – has been hit by a ransomware attack that has forced the suspension of all US production operations. The disclosure was made via a Form 8-K filing with the US Securities and Exchange Commission and a simultaneous Business Wire press release. Coca-Cola confirmed that a third party gained unauthorised access to a portion of Fairlife’s systems, including its production-related systems. The company has activated incident response and business continuity protocols, notified law enforcement, and engaged outside advisors and cybersecurity experts to assist with the investigation. The full scope, nature, and impacts of the incident are not yet known. No ransomware group has been publicly identified. No ransom demand has been disclosed.
