Carlsberg Has Filed Confidentially With India’s Regulator for a Potential $700 Million IPO of Its India Business.

Carlsberg has confidentially filed draft papers with India’s Securities and Exchange Board of India for a potential initial public offering of its India business, according to reporting by Bloomberg News on 2 July 2026 citing people familiar with the matter. The proposed offering could raise as much as $700 million and is structured entirely as a secondary share sale by the Danish parent, meaning all proceeds would flow to Carlsberg A/S rather than being reinvested into the Indian subsidiary. The size, structure, and timing of the offering remain subject to change.
