Campari Group reported H1 2026 results on 29 July 2026, recording net sales of €1,512 million, organic growth of 2.7% (Q2: +2.5% organic), and an adjusted EBIT of €358 million – up 8.5% organically, with EBIT-adjusted margin expanding 130 basis points organically to 23.7%. The underlying performance is solid. However, the reported figures look dramatically different: reported EBIT of €249 million (–26.8%) and reported net profit of €129 million (–37.7%). These declines are driven almost entirely by €109 million of operating adjustments – primarily €82 million in write-downs on brands marked for disposal as Campari’s portfolio rationalisation programme progressed to an advanced stage during the period. The write-downs are non-cash accounting entries, not a reflection of operational performance.
