Brown-Forman Corporation announced on 13 July 2026 that Lawson Whiting has decided to retire as President and Chief Executive Officer, effective upon the appointment of a successor. Whiting has been with Brown-Forman for nearly 30 years. The Board of Directors has initiated a formal succession search considering both internal and external candidates.
